Since its release, From Here has been used as a catalyst for dialogue and learning across diverse geographic and institutional contexts.

In addition to institutional settings, the project has been widely engaged in grassroots and community-based contexts, including public libraries, high schools, youth programs, community centers, and local advocacy spaces. Recognition

The film was broadcast nationally on U.S. public television through America ReFramed (PBS / WORLD) and has received awards including Best Feature Documentary at the New York Human Rights Film Festival. The project was a finalist in the Social Impact Media Awards 2025, underscoring its effectiveness as a tool for dialogue, education, and social change.
